How to report a date you believe is wrong

These are the most valuable messages we receive. To let us act on one quickly, include four things:

  1. 1

    The exact request

The full URL including date, location and any pack parameter.

  2. 2

    What we returned

Paste the response, or at minimum the festival key and confidence score.

  3. 3

    What you expected

The date you believe is correct.

  4. 4

    Your source

The panchang, almanac or authority you are comparing against. This matters — where authorities genuinely differ, the right answer may be a new rule pack rather than a correction.

What happens next

If the report is valid, the fix ships as a new rule version — the old rule is deprecated rather than deleted, so answers we served you previously stay reproducible. The correction appears in the changelog, and the reasoning becomes visible through /v1/festivals/explain.

Before you write

The playground answers most integration questions in about a minute, and the methodology page explains why any given date was selected.
