Terms of Service

1.Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TathaAstu Panchang API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2.API Usage

• You must register for an account and obtain an API key to access the Service
• Your API key is personal and must not be shared or published publicly
• Usage is subject to the rate limits and quotas of your selected plan
• Automated scraping, bulk downloading, or redistribution of raw data is prohibited

3.Plans and Billing

• Free tier: 1,000 requests/month with limited features
• Paid plans: billed monthly or annually as per the selected plan
• Exceeding your plan limits will result in request blocking until the next billing cycle
• Plan downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle

4.Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense API data without a Business or Enterprise plan
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the API or underlying algorithms
• Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose
• Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
• Share your API key or allow unauthorized access
• Scrape, cache, or store bulk data for offline redistribution

5.Data Accuracy

While we strive for maximum accuracy using Swiss Ephemeris and traditional Panchang algorithms, astronomical data and festival dates are provided for informational purposes. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy for all edge cases.

6.Intellectual Property

All API data, algorithms, documentation, and branding are the intellectual property of Tebibyte Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Your API subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the data within your application.

7.Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

8.Limitation of Liability

Tebibyte Infotech Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9.Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, non-payment, or abuse. You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard.

10.Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11.Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
